It can be really hard to put yourself out there, especially when you are unsure, but I think taking a chance is extremely important. Going through life, waiting for your time to come can feel frustrating. One of the major themes of my life has been “wait your turn.” Patience has been a lesson I have had to learn, basically I never had a choice in the matter. Everything moves very slow in my life, like at the pace of a turtle. I had grown anxious, tired, and stressed wondering when will my big break come? But you can never really know. So now, I aim for a peaceful state of mind in trusting that what is meant for me, is meant for me to have in due time. I cannot force the hands of time. So, I surrender to it and prepare in the meantime. Show up when you are scared, take the risk, so at least you won’t regret anything. No regrets. Leave your comfort zone. I plan to do the same with every day. No safety in the comfort zone. No safety in what you think you know. Safety is fleeting. So, Go, Go, Go.
